CUSTOMER PROBLEM
Our client first contacted us because their production was stopped due to a failure in the raw material suction system (ground rubber). We addressed the emergency and identified a break in the stator of the electric motor and an internal short circuit in it.
Vibration was identified in the turbine (impeller) coupled to the electric motor, the motor was disassembled and the situation was completely resolved, it was addressed urgently.
KEY ANSWER
MEKTRON PROPOSAL
The metal parts in the suction system were cleaned, the 50hp high-speed three-phase delta motor was rewound, aluminum welding was applied to repair the fractured stator, and the electrical control panel for full-load start was maintained and calibrated.
