CUSTOMER PROBLEM
Our client contacted us urgently because the final product from the extruder was coming out contaminated. We met with their quality, production, and maintenance engineers and concluded that preventive and corrective maintenance was needed, which involved disassembling the injection barrel and the helical injection screw. The screw was 6 meters long, so the maneuver would be challenging due to the dimensions and weight of the system, and we had limited time because production was urgent. We disassembled the entire system and proceeded to calibrate, clean, and polish the inside of the injection barrel, which was extremely contaminated because it had never received proper maintenance.

We manufactured tools within our client's company with dimensions of approximately 6 meters in length and proceeded to begin with the extraction of large and small sediments of material accumulated over a long period of time that the equipment was without maintenance, we removed and polished the entire injection screw, we developed a maintenance plan and specialized maneuvers for assembly and disassembly.
The project was a success and we met the agreed delivery time, working 16 hours a day to restart our client's production. The people in charge at that company (our client) are extraordinary and provided us with support and understanding at every stage of the project. We would gladly work with them again.
